Discover Feast of Shadows
Feast of Shadows is a self-taught artist living and working in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His original, continuously evolving work is inspired by multiple interests, artistic movements, historical painters, and his own experiences as an eccentric, queer synesthete.
Working across multiple media and styles, he creates both physical pieces (pen & ink, coloured pencil, watercolour, ceramics) and digital artwork using Procreate. His versatile portfolio includes posters for community events, playbills for shows, greeting cards, illustrations for a cookbook and a children's book, artwork for short stories and journal articles, and most recently, a logo design for the Quebec Writers Federation's new literary magazine.
Bon voyageThe name Feast of Shadows was born out of the eerie and the macabre, but it represents something deeper - how everyone sees the world differently, both in a visual and metaphorical sense. It is my hope that my particular vantage point takes you to other realms, at least for a little while.
